Roofing Company SEO: A New Cleveland Roofer Built to Rank From Day One
Craft Roofing Services is a locally owned roofing company in Cleveland, Ohio. We built its website from the ground up as a complete lead system: service pages, county pages, paid search landing pages and an instant satellite estimate. Four months after Semrush first found the site, it ranked for 123 keywords.

Craft Roofing Services
Starting problemCleveland has no shortage of roofing companies. Storm chasers, national brands and decades-old family names all fight for the same searches every spring. Craft was new, with no reviews to lean on yet, no backlinks and no search history. Semrush did not find a single ranking keyword for the domain until May 2026.
DiagnosisThe website had to do two jobs at once: win trust with the homeowners who found it, and give Google a reason to show it in the first place. And because organic search takes months, it needed a paid search path that could ring the phone next week.
What we changedA site where every page has a job. A Roofr satellite estimate in the first screen, a page per service, a Cuyahoga County hub with city tiles and schema markup, ten paid search landing pages with location versions, and a thank-you page that fires conversion tracking so the ad budget is judged by real leads.

What it meant for the business
You do not need ten years of history to show up on Google. You need a site built the right way from day one: a page for every service, a page for every area, landing pages that match your ads, and a reason for homeowners to choose you once they arrive. Craft Roofing Services has all four.
Where it started
A new roofer in a crowded market.
Craft Roofing Services was built on one idea: homeowners deserve a straight answer, a fair price and work done right. None of that counts for anything online until Google knows the business exists.
Most roofing websites are a homepage, a services list and a contact form. We built Craft a site where every page ranks for a search, answers a question or turns a visitor into a quote, and we built it to do all three from launch day.
The build
A lead system, not a brochure.
Homeowners want a number before they want a phone call. So the first thing they see is a Roofr instant estimate tool that measures the roof from satellite imagery and returns a replacement estimate on the spot. No waiting for a callback, no sales visit just to get a ballpark. Around it, the homepage answers the questions that decide who gets the job: what Craft does, who runs it, what real Cleveland roofs they have finished, and how they handle insurance claims without the door-knocker pressure.
Every service got its own page, written for the way Cleveland homeowners search: residential roofing, commercial roofing, roof repair, roof replacement, roof inspection and roof maintenance. Then the service area structure, starting with a Cuyahoga County hub with county and city tiles and schema markup. The copy speaks to the real housing stock, from century homes in Cleveland Heights to the ranches of Parma and the newer builds west through Strongsville and Westlake.

Paid search
Landing pages that match the ads.
Organic search takes months. Paid search can ring the phone next week. We built a dedicated set of landing pages for roof replacement, roof repair, roof leak repair, roof installation and roofing company searches, each with a location version, so every ad lands on a page that matches it.
Each one carries a short estimate form above the fold, trust badges, and a thank-you page that fires conversion tracking, so the ad budget can be judged by real leads instead of clicks. A financing page, a free estimate page and SMS consent language for text follow-up round out the funnel.
The results
From 2 keywords to 123 in four months.
Semrush first recorded the new site in May 2026 with 2 ranking keywords. By July it ranked for 37. By August, 99. By September, 123 keywords, sixty one times where it started. Ubersuggest counts 64 referring domains already pointing at the site, the brand ranks number four for craft roofing company, and commercial roofing pages are climbing from page four.
Four months is early for SEO, and we will not pretend otherwise. The big roofing terms in Cleveland take time. What matters is the shape of the curve: ranking keywords have grown every single month since launch, while the instant estimate and the paid search pages turn the people who do find Craft into quote requests today.
